Moving out of WG / Germany

Beitragvon rebp » 23.08.2019, 14:38

Dear M-net community,

I am the main tenant of a WG in Munich, with a 2years M-Net contract that was subscribed in my name one year ago.
I am now moving out my appartment and leaving Germany.

In order for me to get out of the contract and for them (my roomates) to avoid an internet disruption, is it possible to transfer the M-Net contract to one of the new "main tenants" of the apartment ?
Basically handing them over the contract, or changing the name on the contract.

Many thanks,
Best regards,

Dear rebp,

the contract is not transferable. You can cancel your contract and your roomates can apply for a new contract. This can be managed so that there is no disruption.
For an extraordinary termination of your contract we need a signed proper termination and a copy of your deregistration from the german registration office .
For further information on this matter, please contact our hotline.

Regards,
Yusuf
